This will be my last post here.

I miss my old site and I miss the freedom I had over the design, so that’s why I’ve moved to somewhere I can play around more. I’m in the process of uploading my graphics there and offering them as linkware that you can download from the blog, without having to go to 4shared and download the zip file. Hopefully this will make it easier for you and me. (Thinking of you Tania)

Cutie Pie!

That photo was taken just after she started to crawl. I’ve tried so hard to get a good pic of her crawling, but she’s just too fast and all I end up with is a blurred image.

This is what happens when Daddy and Chausiku go missing for a few minutes! I find them in bed, eating chocolate chip, chocolate muffins! Please notice that Chausiku is on my side of the bed, hmmmm… I must say it was a darn funny moment when Kenneth decided to clean up the crumbs with the vacuum cleaner!

Bathing Beauty

Chausiku LOVES bath time! She grew too big for her ‘baby bath’ a long time ago, and bathing her in the big bath was really painful on my back. God bless the person who created that little bathing chair, of course it doesn’t mean that she can be left alone in the bath, goodness no! But it takes the strain out of trying to support her body while I wash her. The back of it even reclines to help with washing her hair! What will they think of next?…

Getting ready for Christmas

Last night Kenneth and I decided on a name for our little man, which we’re not telling anyone until he’s born. He will have a name of Swahili origin, just like Chausiku. If this bub had been a girl we were going to name her Amani, maybe the one we’ll have in 2011 will be a girl!! *gasp* Who said that!?

So there you have it, the big reveal. Bet most of you thought we were expecting another girl eh? I like to keep people in suspence, but this time it was bugging me and I just had to share our news.

I honestly can’t wait to meet our little boy. I talk a lot to Chausiku about her new baby brother, and tell her that she was in my tummy not that long ago. Of course she has no idea what I’m rambling on about, but she does go very quiet and touch my tummy, so who really knows how much they absorb into their little brains. She’s so precious and I can’t wait to experience life with two little ones.

Kaylah is very excited! She’s such a beautiful, wonderful big sister, bless her!

Isn’t it just so amazing that there’s a little life growing inside my belly! Despite all the emotional stuff I’ve been going through, and despite the negative comments I’ve received lately, I do LOVE being pregnant!

I took this pic this morning in Kaylah’s bedroom – that’s her study desk in the background. She’s the only one in the house with a mirror in her bedroom! Sorry I’m headless, it’s just how the pic was taken, probably for the best as my hair was wrapped in a towel after my shower.
